Península de Valdés with Whale Watching

Whale watching in Puerto Madryn is a truly breathtaking experience. Visitors have the opportunity to embark on boat excursions specially designed to observe these majestic marine mammals in their natural habitat. The boats depart from Puerto Pirámides, the main access point to the protected area of Península Valdés.

Once at sea, it is common to see whales playing, jumping, and flukes, as well as observe the calves with their mothers. The proximity of the whales to the ship can be amazing, providing unique opportunities to capture unforgettable photographs and admire the breathtaking beauty of these animals up close.

In addition to whales, it is possible to spot other marine species during these excursions, such as dolphins, sea lions, and various seabirds. The experience is not only visually exciting, but also offers an educational perspective on the importance of conserving and protecting these marine ecosystems.
